Welcome to the Garden of MC! We have only a few simple rules and guidelines to keep in mind as you participate in our community.
Rules:- Personal attacks, flaming, trolling, baiting and other behaviour which the admins or moderators deem as being intended to disrupt the forum or to intentionally harm its members will not be tolerated. Please be respectful to others.
- While the expression of personal opinions is encouraged here, the Garden will not tolerate the intentional posting of purposefully falsified information with the intention to mislead the membership. The intentional and knowing posting of such falsified information with the intention to harm our members, other internet sites, or individuals on those sites is prohibited.
- Administrative resources used for moderation and management of the Garden are restricted to use by Gardeners conducting Official Garden Business. While we encourage creativity, the importance of Administrative resources, such as Modbreak, to clearly inform and assist the Garden membership require such resources to be used only for those functions. Therefore, members are prohibited from attempting to simulate, alter text or images within, or otherwise misrepresent the contents of said resources for any reason, irrespective of intent. Doing so will result in sanctions, which can consist of, but are not limited to, suspension of posting or membership privileges.
- Political and religious discussions are permitted in the Garden but are regulated to "The Keep" section. Any posts with overtly religious or political themes found in other areas of the Garden will be moved to the appropriate section or deleted.
- Avatars need to be no larger than 300 x 300 pixels and must be reasonably tasteful. Partial nudity is permitted however hard-core pictures are not.
- Child pornography and/or visual depictions of under-aged sex is not permitted. Please refer to the guidelines below for information on posting stories involving minor characters.
General Guidelines for Members:- Registration is required to post. Please note that a valid email address is necessary for the registration process. Visitors are welcome to browse content, but are unable to participate in the discussions.
- The primary purpose of the board is to discuss subjects relating to erotic mind control, hypnosis and related subjects. Readers, writers, artists, lurkers, and all others are welcome to join the conversation. Significant off-topic discussion should be routed to the appropriate boards.
- Use of the Submission Box is encouraged if members have any requests regarding technical issues, structure, or the nature of the forum. The leadership team will take all issues under advisement and will be pleased to discuss requests in detail.
- Linking to legal externally hosted content is permitted. Please be sensitive to what is displayed in a post and mark links or pictures as “Not Safe for Work” as needed.
- For the purposes of stories posted to the Garden, any character age 13 or younger is considered underaged, no exceptions. Characters in the 14 - 15 year age range are questionable and subject to Admin discretion with teen on teen sex being more acceptable than adult on teen. You will probably be alright with characters of 16 years of age or older. If a post is found to violate this rule the poster will first be asked to revise the post and if this is not done in a timely manner, the post will be deleted.
- Stories containing extreme fetishes such as, but not limited to cannibalism, vore, necrophilia, and snuff, while not banned, are discouraged. If posting material that you think may fall under that category, the Garden Admin team requires the use of a general content warning at the top of the post and the use of spoiler tags to hide the text. Garden staff reserve the right to edit posts to add warnings and spoiler tags as needed. Flagrant, repeated failures to abide by this guideline may result in post deletion or other actions as outlined below.
- In the event that a member is causing a disruption, please feel free to contact the admin and/or moderator staff. Issues in regard to rules will be dealt with via PM initially, and/or gentle reminders posted in the effected threads. Continued instances of a disruptive behaviour will be dealt with via the locking of a thread, modification or potential deletion of posts and the potential temporary or permanent banning of the offending individual(s). Banning or deletion of a member is a tool of last resort used only when a members actions pose a significant danger to the well-being of the Garden as a whole.
Code of Conduct for Admins and Moderators of the Garden of MC:- The primary function of the admin and moderator staff is to guide discussion and promote a civil, respectful, and comfortable environment for the members of the Garden.
- Admins and moderators are subject to the same rules as other members of the Garden.
- Admins and Moderators administer the Garden in accordance with the rules stated in this section and are not permitted to act in their enforcement role as Admins/Mods except within the scope of the rules and guidelines stated here. It is the desire of the Admin/Mod team to keep the speech on this forum as free as possible. However, issues that reflect a gray area in the rules and guidelines will be subject to Admin/Mod discretion. These will be handled on a case by case basis.
- Admins and moderators are servants to the community. If any member has issues or concerns with the behaviour of someone on the leadership team, please bring it to the attention of one of the other mods or admins so that we may deal with the problem.
- The Administrators of the Garden may alter the rules in this section, but only after such proposed rule changes have been presented to the membership for full discussion and all interested parties have had a fair chance to air their views.
